Gente boa,
It is so important, in the face of the spiritual and moral collapse of the present world, to turn off the autopilot, to suspend linear time - an anti-system artifice that holds us hostage to the past and the future - in order to reconnect, in the present, with our deepest identity, so that we can allow ourselves to listen to our intuition and let serenity guide our words and actions.
In this state, in the Now, we are more attentive to Nature and its cycles, available to rescue the true meaning of life and celebrations.
Yesterday was the longest night of the year marking the end of the waning light cycle and the beginning of the longer days. The Winter Solstice is the celebration of births, beginnings, life - of the return of the Sun which is reborn each year with a new strength. It symbolises the reaching of the mountaintop, the victory of light over shadow, the hope of renewal or perhaps redemption from the temptation to succumb to error and evil. Today, more than ever, humanity needs this powerful energy of change. The time has come to overcome the inertia that reduces us to a product of the environment and to recover our ability to influence the reality that surrounds us, starting by changing what is most within our reach: ourselves. After all, is it possible to genuinely want peace in the world if we ourselves are not at peace? We see the outside world, we see others, but do we see ourselves? Is the chaos in the world not a consequence of our apathy and the resistance we offer to evolution? Is the chaos outside not a mirror of the chaos within? Are not wars, social disturbances and natural catastrophes the result of human misconduct? Does not wisdom begin with self-knowledge? Is not internal approval more important than external approval? Acts of courage, of altruism, commitment of heart, spiritual growth, anything that ennobles us, is subject to resistance from the mind. Resistance - or ego - is like a being, or a consciousness, that acts against humanity en bloc, as a self-boycott. We need inner liberation: real change is from the inside out. Let us not be discouraged by catastrophism but vigorously seek inner harmony, perfecting ourselves at every moment, consciously and courageously nurturing the best version of ourselves, emitting positive thoughts, full of peace and love, goodwill and forgiveness. When we live and think positively we attract positive results. Simple as that: it's the law of attraction. We all have this power. And, besides believing in it, we need to exercise it.
In this special period, so favourable for meditation and self-reflection, let us remember that all the situations that life gives us, especially the difficult ones, are perfect opportunities to grow and broaden our view of life and the cosmos.
By changing our perception and our thoughts we are making the world a better place. In our view, that is the magic of the Christmas season.
The last challenge of this cycle is to find words to express the deep gratitude to the Universe for all the blessings, for all the opportunities for growth, for the family, friends and customers who made the Lapo restaurant project possible until 2022 and who contribute to the expansion of the Lapo brand in Portugal and beyond.

É tão importante, perante a derrocada espiritual e moral do mundo actual, desligar o piloto automático, suspender o tempo linear – artifício do anti-sistema que nos mantém reféns do passado e do futuro -, para nos reconectarmos, no presente, com a nossa identidade mais profunda, de forma a nos permitirmos escutar a intuição e deixarmos a serenidade guiar as nossas palavras e acções. Nesse estado, no Agora, ficamos mais atentos à Natureza e aos seus ciclos, disponíveis para resgatar o verdadeiro sentido da vida e das celebrações. Ontem teve lugar a noite mais longa do ano que marca o final do ciclo de luz minguante e o início dos dias maiores. O Solstício de Inverno é a celebração dos nascimentos, dos inícios, da vida - do regresso do Sol que renasce todos os anos com uma nova força. Simboliza a chegada ao cume da montanha, a vitória da luz sobre a sombra, a esperança de renovação ou, talvez, a redenção da tentação de sucumbir ao erro e ao mal. Hoje, mais do que nunca, a humanidade necessita desta poderosa energia de mudança. Chegou o tempo de vencer a inércia que nos reduz a produto do meio e de recuperar a nossa capacidade de influenciar a realidade que nos rodeia, começando por mudar aquilo que está mais ao nosso alcance: nós mesmos. Afinal, será possível desejar genuinamente que reine a paz no Mundo se nós mesmos não estivermos em paz? Vemos o mundo exterior, vemos os outros, mas será que nos vemos a nós próprios? Não será o caos no mundo consequência da nossa apatia e da resistência que oferecemos à evolução? Não será o caos exterior espelho do caos interior? Não serão as guerras, os distúrbios sociais, as catástrofes naturais resultado da conduta errada do ser humano? Não começará a sabedoria pelo autoconhecimento? Não será a aprovação interna mais importante do que a aprovação externa? Actos de coragem, de altruísmo, comprometimento de coração, crescimento espiritual, qualquer coisa que nos enobreça, está sujeita a resistência da mente. A resistência - ou ego - é como se fosse um ser, ou uma consciência, que actua contra a humanidade em bloco, como auto-boicote. Precisamos de libertação interior: a verdadeira mudança é de dentro para fora. Não desanimemos com o catastrofismo mas procuremos vigorosamente a harmonia interior, aperfeiçoando-nos a cada instante, alimentando consciente e corajosamente a melhor versão de nós mesmos, emitindo pensamentos positivos, cheios de paz e amor, boa vontade e perdão. Quando vivemos e pensamos positivamente atraímos resultados positivos. Assim, simples: é a lei da atracção. Todos nós temos esse poder. E, além de acreditar nele, é preciso exercê-lo. Neste período especial, tão favorável a meditação e a autorreflexão, relembremos que todas as situações que a vida nos proporciona, especialmente as difíceis, são oportunidades perfeitas para crescer e ampliar a nossa visão da vida e do cosmos. Mudando a nossa percepção e os nossos pensamentos estamos a tornar o Mundo num lugar melhor. No nosso sentir, é essa a magia da quadra natalícia.
O derradeiro desafio deste ciclo é encontrar palavras para exprimir a profunda gratidão ao Universo por todas as bênçãos, por todas as oportunidades de crescimento, pelos familiares, amigos e clientes que tornaram possível o projecto do restaurante Lapo até 2022 e que contribuem para a expansão da marca Lapo em Portugal e além-fronteiras.
